Tiny Houses Consultation with the Ontario Building Code

The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing has launched a public consultation on proposed changes to the Building Code related to building permits and inspections for Tiny Homes and to clarify the requirements for remote inspections.

The proposals are available on the Regulatory Registry for comment until October 22, 2021 (45 days). The Regulatory Registry posting can be accessed here.
